Honestly, during my first demo, I was disappointed and frustrated with myself since the students cannot understand me clearly and I cannot understand them too. I want to make it fun but it was hindered by language barrier. What I did for my other demo was that I tried to learn some basic Thai words. They were shocked at first when they heard me speaking their language. I finally saw them smile while speaking and I can feel that they appreciate my effort. That was the start when I felt happy and relieved because I know that they already understand me. They were also enjoying the activities that I gave them and they all participated actively during the discussions. For those reasons, I am finally satisfied with my own performance. My cooperating teacher would often tell me that I am good in teaching. During my last demo where I was evaluated by my supervisor, Miss Sitah, she told me that my activities were very interesting. She also gave some suggestions for future improvement. I feel so proud that I was able to maintain the dignity of my school.
